The substrate of the existing Badminton Hall was of old Shahabad tiles with many undulations, some potholes. It was hacked, potholes were repaired. All the loose material, debris was removed & the floor was completely cleaned with air blower and by manual means. Over the prepared dry/moisture free and clean substrate , a prime coat was applied of WP-999.
Over the above primer, ready to use self-leveling compound SL-99 was laid. Being self-leveling compound, it attains the required floor level. Trowel was used to make the surface smooth. Total thickness applied was 3 mm which removed all the undulations in the existing floor and gave it super strength. Then it was allowed to be cured naturally for a period of 24 hrs. Over the above surface, two coats of FINISH TOP of DFT 80 to 100 microns is applied to achieve high gloss finish to the leveled surface
